A MATLAB program available in this repository will assist you in this task.
If you have MATLAB installed on your local machine, set the working directory of MATLAB to be the same as the working directory of Creo Parametric and start working. Alternatively, you can design the cam using MATLAB online.
CreoAutomation.exe is running or that the separated program cam_design.exe / cam_design.ahk is running.camprofile.txt and direction.txt are in your working directory. These files are created when you run the export method of a cam object (obj.export) in MATLAB. If you use MATLAB online, download those files into your Creo working directory.gcam, and the 3D model will be created automatically.Now that you have a 3D model of the cam, simply assemble it into your assembly and create a mechanism with Creo.
